Luke Norman, CEO, President, Director
 
Mr. Norman is a seasoned growth executive with 20 years of experience in the venture capital markets. He has raised in excess of $300M for both public and private companies predominantly in the resource sector. In recent years, Mr. Norman has operated a consultancy company to the metals and mining industry. He also co-founded Gold Standard Ventures Corp., a TSX-V and NYSE Market listed gold exploration company and US Gold Corp., listed on the Nasdaq exchange. He is the Chairman of Silver One Resources, a silver pre-development and exploration company listed on the TSX-V. Mr. Norman brings expertise in mineral exploration, finance, corporate governance, M&A and corporate leadership to his role as President & CEO

 

Richard Silas, CFO, Corporate Secretary, Director

Mr. Silas has been a Director of VanGold Mining Corp. since October of 2019, and now also serves as VP of Corporate Development. Previously was President and Director of Barksdale Resources Corp., where he played a vital role in acquiring the company's flagship Sunnyside project in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. Sunnyside is located adjacent to South32’s Taylor deposit, which was acquired in 2018 for $2.1 Billion. Mr. Silas has 20+ years’ experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and administration of junior resource companies. Prior to Barksdale, Mr. Silas was Director and Corporate Secretary of Gold Standard Ventures Corp. (listed on the TSX and NYSE) from 2009 until 2017. During his time at Gold Standard, the Company’s market capitalization increased from $23 million to over $400 million. His understanding of the junior exploration markets and ability to position, structure, and administer companies has been integral to their successes.

 

Jeff O’Neill, Director

Mr. O’Neill is President/Owner of JMO Enterprises Ltd. (private consulting firm), 2002 to present; Mr. O’Neill was the Regional Sales Manager, Western Canada, of Primus Business Solutions, from 2007 to 2013.
